One of those devices that you can assume would be excellent is the Apple Watch Series 7. It is far superior to any other smartwatch on the market and the best one available for iPhone users.

With a more prominent always-on display, support for quick charging, and health features including the ability to track blood oxygen levels and do an electrocardiogram, Series 7 is the most advanced Apple Watch compared to earlier models. The Watch SE is a strong rival because it only misses a few health functions, an always-on display, and quick performance.

The Series 7 has a huge display 40% larger than the Series 3 and 20% larger than the Series 6. It can also charge more quickly. The UI feels less crowded overall and is easier to engage with thanks to the larger display.

Let's check out its features

Design

It's not like you're wearing a bigger watch on your wrist because Apple didn't raise the case size even with the larger display. Instead, just 1.7 millimetres of the bezel are present around the display. Not inconsequential is a 20% increase in display space, and it's pleasant that the edge borders are now thinner.

Additionally, it boasts a thicker crystal that Apple claims is 50% thicker in some places and has "refractive" borders that bend light so you can see the display's very edge when looking at it from the side. The Series 7 also has a prettier appearance than the Series 6 thanks to a rounder, softer overall design.

Battery Life

Apple released Sleep Tracking with watchOS 7 last year, which some customers noticed as a minor power issue. The Apple Watch would require another charge if you wanted to track throughout the night.

We have been consistently exceeding Apple's "all day" battery life guarantee, which translates to roughly 18 hours. According to Apple, is 33%, so in contrast to the Series 6, which may take up to an hour and a half to charge from empty to full, the Series 7 charges in just one hour and takes about 45 minutes to charge from empty to 80%.

Processor

The processor, which is designated as an S7 to match the new Watch, performs similarly to the S6 found in Series 6. We haven't yet noticed any differences in performance. The health features and performance are pretty much the same.

As long as we're talking about health, the Apple Watch Series 7 can now automatically pause and resume cycling sessions, and it can also tell if you're using an e-bike instead of a traditional bike and alter your calorie burn statistics appropriately. The U1 chip, which was initially introduced with the iPhone 11 Pro, has also been included by Apple, helping to future-proof the product.

Durability

Series 7 improves durability by maintaining the WR50 grade (waterproof) but raising the IP6X dust rating. This indicates that the Apple Watch is impermeable to dust and prevents any particles from entering. In our testing, wearing the Apple Watch while working in the garden in close proximity to water and dirt, we encountered no problems.

Apple asserts that the Series 7's display is the most crack-resistant, and the display's crystal is flat on the bottom, which helps it withstand drops and breaks. Although we didn't completely test this with a drop test, we found no problems when we banged our wrists against a bedpost, table, or countertop. Additionally, Series 7 comes in five colours: Red, blue, midnight, and starlight.

Software

There are also a number of new watch faces included with the WatchOS 8 software to better showcase the larger screen. The QuickPath keyboard, another significant addition to WatchOS 8, is surprisingly simpler to use on this wrist-mounted display than we had anticipated, even though the delete key is located wrongly because it doesn't quite mirror the iPhone experience.

A great wristwatch is the Apple Watch Series 7. Here, the experience is revitalized by the larger display, and faster charging addresses an issue that has been for some time. It is the perfect Apple Watch since it can take an ECG, monitor blood oxygen levels, and always be on while having added durability capabilities. Apple watches series 7 is available at NextStore.
